I’ll be honest.
Recently I was having some trouble with focusing on the right things. You might know it as procrastination.
To combat this I am trying a new experiment with Focusmate.
It’s like having a virtual coworking mate that hold each other accountable for the work they want to get done.
How does it work?
- Create an account (you get 3 sessions per week for free)
- Plan a session
- When it’s time, launch the session, put your video on, greet you partner and explain what you want to get done (in 1 minute max)
- After 50 minutes the bell rings
- Together reflect on the session and say goodbye
Last week I had my first sessions and it worked. I finally got done what I had been putting off for quite some time.
